Post angle sensor
just picked up my quad from the dealer $1300 later. angle sensor went when i was 40 plus km in the bush by myself and had no choice but to ride it out. cuz the sensor messed up it screwed up the clutch and fryed it. plus they said wires to the sensor were a little melted most likely from the exhaust. so they put in a new clutch and sensor and fixed the wiring. 1850km and 155 hrs on it hopefully it doesnt happen again that was a pretty big bill to swallow. i guess the lesson to learn is don t keep riding when it starts beeping codes at you.

Sorry to hear the cost was so high. The whole episode was a real bummer.

Lessons learned:

1. Never ride 40km into the brush by yourself. This is a cardinal rule of off-roading. If you can't find a buddy to ride with, don't go. I frequently ride by myself, but where I ride, I can walk home. May take a couple hours to do so, but a two hour walk is better than a $1300 repair bill.
Or worse.

2. Always carry a tow strap. Of course a tow strap does no good if you are riding alone. Unless you get lucky and run into other riders who are willing to tow you back to the truck.

3. Carry a cel phone and pray you can get a signal.
